Dubravka Stražić, a 22-year-old chemistry student from Zagreb, wins FameLab Croatia in an exciting grand finale which took place at the packed Zagreb Dance Centre on Friday 18 May.
Dubravka, born in Vukovar and living and studying in Zagreb, won the jury’s votes with her presentation entitled ‘The Smell of Hunger’ in which she explains the metabolic processes that take place in the body when on a diet and the negative side effects of these processes.
Dubravka will represent Croatia at the International FameLab at The Times Cheltenham Science Festival from 12 – 17 June where she will be competing against national winners from 18 different countries. Watch this space for further updates.

Dubravka je jedna od devetnaest pobjednika lokalnih natjecanja u raznim državama. Na polufinalnom natjecanju u Cheltenhamu izborila je sudjelovanje u velikom finalu večeras u 19h, s još devet natjecatelja.
